WASHINGTON DC — On April 24th, Sweetgreen Restaurant held its first annual Sweetlife Festival in Washington D.C.’s Dupont Circle. Over 750 people came out to celebrate food, lifestyle, and community. Virginia Linen Service was proud to be a participating sponsor of this earth friendly event. The Sweetlife Festival was in celebration of Earth Day and Sweetgreen was able to raise funds for DC Farm to School Network; an organization connecting schools to local farms to promote healthy eating and proper nutrition. In true Sweetgreen fashion, this festival was completely Wind Powered; just another step in minimizing the environmental footprint.
