A Note to Our Valued Customers

Valued Customers,

We value and sincerely appreciate your business. As a local family business, the health and safety of our customers, associates and our communities have always been our top priority.

During this time of uncertainty related to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), I want to assure you that in order to provide the best available products and services, our team is taking all the recommended precautions in personal hygiene and in the use of the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while monitoring the health of our associates and their families.

Our team is engaged in regular communications with local health agencies and is following the scientific guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are also working diligently with our vendor partners, our managers and our associates as we learn new best practices to minimize any potential spread of the virus.

Accordingly, we have implemented a number of procedures and protocols:

• Protecting the Health and Wellbeing of our Associates and their Families – We continue to share the most current information with our teams. To prevent the potential spread of the virus, we are temporarily offering more flexibility in time off due to family illness and encouraging anyone who displays any of the identified symptoms or feels sick to stay home.

• Route Sales and Delivery Associates – All of our service teams are equipped with the appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Company Task Force – A company-wide task force is monitoring the situation and developing protocols and preventative measures to be carried out throughout our facilities.

• Increased Hygiene Protocols and Visible Hand-Sanitization Stations – As we are already in the hand hygiene business, we were easily able to make hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial soaps more readily available throughout the company. We have increased our signage, training and communication promoting hand hygiene best practices at home, in the community and at work.

• Increased Cleaning Schedules – We have increased the frequency of our cleaning and disinfecting efforts on all high-touch areas throughout our facilities.

• Laundry Chemistry – The laundering chemicals, formulation and processes used by our facilities follow the recommended CDC chemical use guidelines and produce disinfected and hygienically clean textiles during laundering and finishing.

Additionally, we are working closely with our suppliers to ensure we have the products you need to service your customers and guests. We have increased our inventory of hygiene products to meet higher demands as we navigate the rapidly evolving effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please contact your local service representative if you have any further questions, if you need further assistance or additional products or services. As always, we are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

We remain at your service and committed to being an energy efficient recycling company, protecting the health of the communities we serve.
